Social Night

Members of the club, family and friends  joined for a social evening, which the club likes to organise on a regular basis. This time at a Greek restaurant, 'Vrisaki', on Saturday 27 March, 2010, to celebrate Elena Charalambous' 1st Dan success.

Good company, good food, drink and music makes a perfect recipe for success and a warm social gathering with all our competitors.

Nage-No-Kata course

Nage-No-Kata course was held on Sunday, February 8, at Sobell Judo Club

The Sobell Nage-No-Kata course was held on Sunday, February 8, at Sobell Judo Club. It was the first of such courses planned for this year that was open to all judoka in the area.

The 5 hour session proved to be a very enjoyable and stimulating experience for all. About 20 attended the course, which made it an excellent response.

We hope to capitalise on this by running further Kata courses later in the year, so watch this space.

Thank you to everyone who took time to attend.
