Samuel Betu awarded 7th Dan

Samuel Betu, Senior Instructor at Sobell Judo Club, has been awarded his 7th Dan by Hanshi Sampson Sampson (9th Dan), President of JFAUK and Technical Director of the World Judo Federation (WJF).

This distinguished honour recognises Samuel’s many years of unwavering dedication and exceptional contribution to the art of judo. Throughout his journey, he has supported Hanshi Sampson and his team, playing a vital role in the progression, integration, and international promotion of traditional Japanese judo; and the fostering of the development of judo within the community.
