Congratulations to Sam Sampson & Zeynep Sun who took part in the BJA 'We Will Remember Them' tournament yesterday. Zenynep started the day in the U78kg category and took on a big pool, dispatching of each of her opponents - including a dan grade! - to take home a gold medal. Sam Sampson was next in the well filled U81kg category and worked his way through the knockouts and into the semi final. Unfortunately, a loss at this stage put him into the repechage, however still he was still determined and managed to win his next fight to secure 3rd place. Well done to both of you.
